Mad minutes is a fun way to learn number facts and multiplication tables. Depending on your child's year group they will be given between 2 and 5 minutes to complete a Mad Minutes grid which contains a selection of number fact/multiplication questions. Once your child succeeds at their level in the allocated time, they will move onto a higher level.
From previous experience, children who practise their number facts and tables regularly at home progress through the levels much more quickly.
I cannot stress enough the importance of knowing number facts; they are the foundation of mathematics!
Please find a vast selection of Mad Minute sheets below. The first two sections 'Number Facts' and 'Multiplication Facts' focus on specific skills per sheet. The last section 'Numeracy Passport' will help your child practise an array of skills within the passport level.
Can you beat the clock?
